I am Consultant Clinical Psychologist and an Associate Fellow member of the British Psychological Society (BPS). I also hold Chartered Psychologist and Chartered Scientist status with the BPS and am registered with the Health and Care Professions Council (HCPC). I am a member of the British Association for Behavioural and Cognitive Psychotherapies (BABCP) and hold full professional indemnity insurance.
I graduated from the University of Manchester with BSc (Hons) and Masters (MPhil) degrees in Psychology. After working in Assistant Psychologist and Research Assistant posts, I trained as a Clinical Psychologist and graduated form the University of Leeds with a Doctorate in Clinical Psychology (DClinPsychol).
I have fifteen years experience in working with clients presenting with a range of psychological and emotional issues. In addition, I specialise in coaching clients who seek high performance results in their lives using psychological approaches. I have worked in the NHS and private sector across a range of settings as well as running my independent practices. I now work full-time in independent practice specialising in psychological assessment, therapy and medico-legal services. In addition, I am involved in related work surrounding the promotion of emotional well-being and mental health awareness across society.
